The concept for our The 80s Greatest Hits graphics was to build the show's logo out of Rubik's cube inspired video boxes. This adaptable treatment was enhanced by footage of iconic 80s artists and worked well when repurposed across each of the show's GFX elements - title sequence, bumpers, song title straps, lower thirds, wipes, pause and play icons and 30-1 countdown numbers.
The episodes of this series count down the biggest hits of the decade year by year so the title sequence and bumpers needed to be adapted for each year 1980-1989.
The 3D work was built in Cinema 4D, rendered with Redshift and post effects were added in After Effects.
